I recently took a trip over to Shingle Street, Suffolk. I expected dull grey skies so had anticipated working on long exposure photography. However….the sunrise was explosive – quite incredible – and for a while I just stood back and enjoyed the unbelievable sky!

What I love about Shingle Street is the feel of isolation, yet tranquillity. The shingle spit is always changing shape and the tides really affect the feel and look of the place. It’s magnetic and keeps me coming back to see it over and over again.

Simply Suffolk.
